Isn’t it wild that after a moment has passed, it will never happen the same way again?! The people, the atmosphere, even the version of yourself in that moment is forever changed. Ever since our wedding day, my husband and I learned that after all the planning, the sacred vows, the ecstasy of celebrating, the only tangible things we really got to take from our wedding day were our photos and videos. Not only that, but they gained more value with time. That’s a big part of why it is our passion and privilege, that we take seriously to tell our couples’ stories professionally and beautifully. Story
My journey behind the lens began when I fell in love with capturing peoples’ stories back in 2016. The moment I saw how powerful it is to step back in time and relive memories, it changed everything for me.
When I started our studio with my husband in 2025, I knew God had made us to be vessels to carry His light and Love to people. I loved that my camera was also a “vessel” that captures light. So being a pun loving gal, I thought, “Why not name our studio ‘Vessel of Light Studio’?” Loving people with God’s Love is my calling. Using my creativity to capture your love story authentically and beautifully is how I get to live out that purpose!

Over 500 weddings later, in the Northern Virginia, DMV area and beyond, it has continued to be my joy and privilege to tell people’s story’s in personal and authentic way. I lean into documentary photography with a timeless editorial aesthetic. I love to shoot digitally and play with film. My goal is to guide you to connect with each other on your wedding day in creative ways that tell your story. I help you stay entirely present on your wedding day, allowing us to preserve your most fleeting, beautiful moments just as they felt.
